Jacksonville Sharks News Release
ORLANDO - The 2012 South Division Champion Jacksonville Sharks (6-3) square off against the Orlando Predators (2-6) in Week 10 of the 2013 Arena Football League season on Saturday, May 25. Kickoff from Amway Center is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Sharks head south to Orlando with the goal of snapping a three-game losing streak. Entering this week, the Sharks are tied atop the South Division and American Conference with the Tampa Bay Storm. This week, the Jacksonville defense will line up against a very familiar face, as quarterback Aaron Garcia faces his former team for the first time. Garcia began the season with the San Jose SaberCats before being traded to Orlando near the end of April.
The Sharks have not faced any opponent more often than the Predators, as the teams have met six times in the regular season and twice in the playoffs. Jacksonville holds a 6-2 overall edge (5-1 in the regular season), sweeping the season series in each of the last two years. Counting the Sharks' first-round playoff win over Orlando in 2011, Jacksonville has won five straight meetings in this series.
