
Philadelphia Defense Stops Tampa Bay Storm, 73-55

TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Storm (6-4, 2-1 ) came up short Saturday night as the Philadelphia Soul (5-4, 0-2) defeated the Storm, 73-55, in an Arena Football League game on the Amalie Motor Oil Field in the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Soul quarterback Dan Radabaugh threw for 7 touchdowns and 297 yards on 20 of 23 passing but Philadelphia's defense stymied the Storm with an outstanding pass rush that resulted in three quarterback sacks. The Storm also was held on 4th down three times.
Storm quarterback Adrian McPherson ran for a pair of scores and threw for 5 touchdowns. He connected with Joe Hills for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns and Greg Ellingson twice for 123 yards.
The Tampa Bay Storm heads to Iowa to take on the Barnstormers at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA this Saturday, June 1 at 8:05 PM ET.
