Fog Devils Make a Number of Moves

The St. John's Fog Devils announced a number of moves before today's QMJHL Trade Deadline.

The club traded forward Philippe Cote to the Gatineau Olympiques in exchange for the Olymiques 7th Round Pick in the 2006 Draft.

The club then acquired defenceman, Ryan Jenner, from the Victoriaville Tigres in exchange for the 7th Round Pick in the 2006 Draft from Gatineau.

Jenner is 20 years old and is from Halifax, NS. He is listed at 6'3, 220lbs and has played 39 games with Victoriaville and has 6PTS (G,5A) and 65PIM. He was originally drafted by the Tigres in the 2nd round (32 overall) of the 2002 QMJHL Entry Draft and has appeared in 239 games with a total of 28PTS (6G,22A) and 452PIM.

The club also placed forward, Steve Tilley, and goaltender, Matthew Spezza, on waivers.

The Fog Devils next home series is against Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22nd. Tickets are available at the Mile One Stadium Box Office. The St. John's Fog Devils are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League.
