BOUCHERVILLE, Sunday, January 8, 2006 (QMJHL) - A lot of teams made deals this morning as the trade period came to a close.
The Chicoutimi Saguenéens traded to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies STÃPHANE CÃSAR (88-03-18) and their 4th round pick in 2006 for NICOLAS LAFONTAINE (86-05-21) and a 7th round choice in the 2006 entry draft.
Also, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens traded their 7th round pick of the 2006 entry draft to the Val-d'Or Foreurs for their 4th round pick (acquired from Chicoutimi) in 2006. Then, they sent MATTHEW BLOCK (87-06-07) to the Saint John Sea Dogs for their 9th round pick choice of the 2007 entry draft.
The Rimouski Océanic traded to the Quebec Remparts DANY ROUSSIN (85-01-09) without compensation.
The St.John's Fog Devils traded to the Gatineau Olympiques PHILIPPE CÃTÃ (87-01-20) for a 7th round pick in the 2006 entry draft.
The Gatineau Olympiques traded to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan their 7th round pick (acquired from P.E.I.) in 2006 for ANTONIN MANAVIAN (87-04-26).
The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies traded to the Saint John Sea Dogs their 8th round pick in 2007 for DAVID STARENKY (85-08-14).
The Val-d'Or Foreurs traded to the Victoriaville Tigres JULIEN WALSH (85-02-12) for their 7th round choice in the 2007 entry draft.
The Shawinigan Cataractes traded to the Victoriaville Tigres DAVE NOLIN (89-04-27), their 6th round pick (acquired from Saint John, NB) in 2006 and their 3rd round pick in the 2007 entry draft for JAN DANECEK (86-02-15).
The Baie-Comeau Drakkar traded to the Victoriaville Tigres PATRICK SIMARD (87-03-30) for MAXIME MORIER (87-11-27).
The St.John's Fog Devils traded to the Victoriaville Tigres their 7th round pick (acquired from Gatineau) in 2006 for RYAN JENNER (85-10-22).
The Baie-Comeau Drakkar traded to the Victoriaville Tigres their 7th round pick in 2006 for PHILIPPE BRISEBOIS (86-10-21).
The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies traded to the Victoriaville Tigres RÃMI TREMBLAY (85-02-18) for their 8th round pick in 2007.
Finally, the Val-d'Or Foreurs traded JEAN-SÃBASTIEN ADAM (86-10-29) and their 3rd round pick (acquired from Gatineau) at the 2006 entry draft for GABRIEL CARLE (89-12-20).
