Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs wish to congratulate Danny Flynn for winning his 300th regular season game as a QMJHL head coach.
On Sunday, Flynn became only the 20th coach in QMJHL history to reach the 300-win plateau following the Sea Dogs' 4-1 triumph over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar at Centre Henry-Leonard. He did it in 526 games.
Flynn has 81 wins in 124 games over two seasons in Saint John. The native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, also posted 219 victories in six seasons with the Moncton Wildcats from 2007 to 2013.
"We're so proud that Danny has reached this impressive milestone with our team," said President and General Manager, Trevor Georgie. "Only a select few coaches have won three hundred games in our league. Danny deserves to be in that elite company with his commitment to excellence and relentless work ethic."
Saint John's next game is Wednesday, February 22nd, at 7 p.m. against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at Harbour Station. Tickets are available at the Harbour Station Box Office, or fans can save money and buy online.
