
Flying Tigers Return Home Tomorrow to Battle Blue Jays

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for a three-game series beginning Tuesday, June 12 at Joker Marchant Stadium. Lakeland will host the Dunedin Blue Jays June 12-14 . Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10. Monday tickets are $1. Parking is FREE.

All-You-Can-Eat Night
Wednesday is All-You-Can-Eat Night sponsored by Texas Roadhouse. Tickets are just $10 and includes admission to the game and all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, Little Caesars pizza, peanuts, popcorn, pretzels and chips as well as food from Texas Roadhouse from 5:30-8:30 p.m. or while supplies last.
Emergency Preparedness Night
Members of Polk County's Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) will be at the game distributing ready materials and will be available to answer any questions from fans. There will be PSA audio and video messages, trivia questions, games and contests throughout the game to educate fans. Weather radios will be given away as prizes during the game. There will also be information regarding hurricane preparedness as the beginning of June also marks the beginning of Hurricane season.
Jen Colson with the National Weather Service will throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch. Tony LaLonde,16 year old son of Polk County Fire Rescue Highland City Volunteer Chief Bill LaLonde, will sing the National Anthem. The Polk County Fire Rescue Honor Guard will present the colors.

3rd Annual Flying Tigers Wing Competition
Area Polk County restaurants will be competing for the Flying Tigers Wing Ding Champion. Competitors will be judged by best overall wing and the people's choice award which will be judged by the fans. Winners will receive trophies and prizes from the Flying Tigers. Restaurants scheduled to participate include Natalie's Sports Bar & Grill, Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings,
Gators at Dockside, Beef O' Brady's and Mojo's. Entrance to the Wing Ding is $5 (ticket to the game is required) and includes wings and live music by Billy Floyd. Part of the proceeds benefit Camp Fire USA. Advance tickets for the wing ding are available by calling Holly Lane at Campfire USA at 863-688-5491.
2-1 Beer Night
Fans can enjoy 2 for 1 draft beer and $1 soda every Thursday home game. Beer sales will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at the conclusion of the 7th inning.
