
Flying Tiger Michael Bertram Named FSL Player of the Week

Lakeland, FL - Lakeland Flying Tigers Infielder Michael Bertram was named Player of the Week by the Florida State League (FSL) today. The selection was for the period of August 11-17.
During the week Bertram batted .400 collecting 10 hits in 25 at-bats. His hits included four home runs and two doubles. Bertram also scored seven runs and drove in nine. His slugging percentage was .960 for the week.
Bertram is in his third professional season with the Tigers organization and first season as a Flying Tiger. He was selected by the Tigers in the 39th round of the June 2006 draft out of the University of Kentucky.
