The Orange County Flyers used a three-run 9th inning rally for their first late comeback victory of the season by a 6-5 score against the Reno Silver Sox.
Scott Goodman connected on a solo shot to pull the Flyers within a run at 5-4. Mark Okano, who reached on one of three walks handed out by RP Eric Thomas, scored on a wild pitch to tie the game.
Bret Levier, who had three hits in the game, drove in the winning run with a sac fly to score Johnny Coit.
Nick Casanova slammed the door shut in the bottom of the 9th to even the series and move the Flyers to 5-6 in the second half.
The rubber match will be Sunday at 5:05 p.m. on www.orangecountyflyers.com.
