
Flyers hitting too much for Silver Sox pitchers

SP Jesse Hall (0-1) threw six innings striking out seven and allowing five runs on nine hits. Remaining close for most of the game the Silver Sox pulled within two runs in the sixth inning, but the Orange County Flyers kept the Sox scoreless for the last three innings as the Silver Sox dropped to 2-10 on the season in the 10-3 loss.
Flyers bats swung hard on the Silver Sox bullpen as RP Billy Shea pitched one inning allowing two runs on four hits and RP Kevin Frederick pitched two innings letting three runs on five hits.
The Silver Sox just couldn't pull the runs in as they had 12 hits on the night but only drove in three runs, an RBI by SS Andre Alvarado in the fourth, a double knocking in an RBI for CRespi in the fifth, and an RBI single for C D.J. Dixon.
Though the Sox didn't win, fans still enjoyed a ten minute fireworks display and received T-Shirts courtesy of St. Mary?s hospital.
The Silver Sox look to turn their season around next home game on Tuesday, June 10 at Peccole Park when they begin a three game series with the Long Beach Armada at 7 P.M.
