Biloxi Shuckers News Release
BILOXI, MS - In collaboration with Fly Llama Brewing Company, the Biloxi Shuckers are thrilled to announce the release of a special hard seltzer brewed just for the Shuckers, available beginning on Thursday, June 30.
The new 'Llets Go Shuckers' mango-flavored hard seltzer will be on tap at MGM Park starting on Thursday at the first and third base beer gardens. Cans will also be available for purchase at Fly Llama Brewing, located at 186 Bohn Street.
"This truly is a match that brings together two of the signature destinations in downtown Biloxi," said Shuckers' General Manager Hunter Reed. "Being able to partner with one of the best breweries on the Coast and F.E.B. Distributing to provide a specialty seltzer named just for the Shuckers is a natural fit, and we can't wait to see what the fans think of 'Llets Go Shuckers!'"
"I couldn't be more excited to team up Fly Llama with the Shuckers," said Fly Llama owner and brewmaster David Reese. "Having grown up in Milwaukee as an avid Brewers' fan, the idea of teaming up my brand with the Shuckers is a dream come true. Watching baseball and enjoying craft beer are a match made in heaven, and we think that Shuckers' fans will be as excited as we are to join the two together."
Located just two blocks from MGM Park, Fly Llama Brewing opened in January of 2021. Founder and Brew master David Reese moved to Coastal Mississippi in 2014 and started Fly Llama Brewing with a goal of making approachable craft beer and hard seltzers from locally sourced ingredients while balancing traditional and new-aged brewing techniques.
"We are launching 'Llets Go Shuckers' Mango Seltzer in the hottest part of the season," said Reese. "We wanted to offer something that really drank well in the heat but that the team was also behind. We worked in conjunction with the Shuckers to nail down a flavor profile that we all ended up loving. It was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. I can't wait for Shuckers' fans to enjoy the Shuckers' own seltzer at their beautiful ballpark in downtown Biloxi. Stay tuned for what's next because something tells me this won't be the last collaboration between Fly Llama and the Shuckers."
Biloxi continues their six-game set against the M-Braves on Wednesday night at MGM Park. RHP Victor Castañeda (1-2, 2.75) takes the hill for the Shuckers against M-Braves RHP Alan Rangel (2-2, 4.95) for a 6:35 pm first pitch. The game can be seen on MiLB.TV and heard locally on WGCM AM 1240/FM 100.9 or online here. Individual tickets, Shuck Nation Memberships, Flex Plans and group outings are available for the 2022 season by calling (228) 233-3465 or visiting biloxishuckers.com.
