
Florida Panthers Sign Greg Rallo

SUNRSISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with center Greg Rallo on a one-year contract, two-way contract.
Rallo, 29, played in 78 games with the Texas Stars (AHL) during the 2010-11 season and paced the club in goals (26) and points (54), while ranking second on the team in assists (28). The Gurnee, Illinois native attending training camp with the Dallas Stars, before being assigned to Texas last season. He has appeared in 250 career American Hockey League (AHL) games with Iowa (2006-07), Albany (2007-08), Rockford (2007-08), Manitoba (2007-09) and Texas (2009-11), collecting 56 goals and 65 assists.
Prior to turning pro, Rallo played four years of college hockey at Ferris State University (2002-06). He was selected as Ferris State's Most Valuable Player following the 2005-06 season, in which he led the Bulldogs in almost every offensive category, scoring 17 goals with 22 assists in 40 games played.
