
Florida Firecats Remain Fifth in Week Fourteen Coaches Poll

Estero, FL- The Florida Firecats received 315 points to finish fifth in the Week Fourteen Coaches Poll, the arenafootball2 (af2) league office announced today. After a bye week, the Firecats (8-3) return to action Saturday night against third ranked Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (10-2).
By securing 430 out of a possible 448 points, the defending ArenaCup champion Tulsa Talons moved back into the top spot this week. The Talons (11-1) clinched a playoff spot this past week with a 58-52 road win against Rio Grande Valley. The Spokane Shock (11-1) slipped back one spot to second after suffering their first loss of the season, 57-55, at home to South Georgia. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Green Bay (9-3) and Florida rounded out the top five.
