
Florida Firecats Fall To Fourth in Week Twelve Coaches Poll

Estero, FL- The Florida Firecats received 357 points to finish fourth in the Week Twelve Coaches Poll, the arenafootball2 (af2) league office announced today. The Firecats (8-2) fell two spots after a 12 point loss at Manchester, 47-35, last Friday night.
By securing 447 out of a possible 448 points, the Spokane Shock maintained the top spot in the poll for the second consecutive week. Spokane (10-0) remained the league's only unbeaten team with an impressive 17 point win at Boise last Saturday, 68-51. The defending ArenaCup champion Tulsa Talons (9-1) earned the number two position outright this week on the strength of a 70-40 home win against Lubbock on Saturday. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (8-2), Florida and Tennessee Valley (7-3) rounded out the top five.
Each week during the season, af2 coaches vote for the Top 16 teams in the league by ranking them one through 16. The complete Top 16 is listed below. The number in parentheses indicates the number of first place votes the team received.
