Lynn, Mass. âSaturday, June 19 will be an unforgettable night at the New Fraser Field. Free floppy hats, special guests and Little League galore are some of the exciting promotions planned for the evening. First pitch is at 7:05 pm and gates will open at 5:30 pm as the Spirit host the Elmira Pioneers.
Sometimes called a bucket hat or fishing hat, these floppy hats are free and a great way to block out the hot, summer sun. The first 1,000 fans to enter the Fraser Field gates will receive a 2004 North Shore Spirit floppy hat, courtesy of Mass Lottery.
The special guest on June 19 will be legendary Boston radio personality Alan Segel of WBZ. Segel will throw out the first pitch and 200 lucky WBZ listeners will win tickets to this game as part of the Spirit/WBZ "Win it Here Promotion." Visit http://www.wbz1030.com for your chance to win a family four pack of tickets to "WBZ Night" at the ballpark.
Lastly, June 19 will be the official Little League Night of the 2004 season. All Little Leaguers are invited to wear their uniforms and participate in a pre-game parade around the field. Kids must be in uniform to take part in the parade.
The Spirit begin their second season at home on Wednesday, May 26 against the Aces. Season and individual tickets can be purchased online at www.northshorespirit.com, at the Spirit box office at 365 Western Ave or by calling 781-592-0007.
