Flight and Alabama A&M to Hold 'Hoops Hysteria' Jan. 18

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., January 8, 2003 – It will be "Hoops Hysteria" Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Von Braun Center when the Huntsville Flight and Alabama A&M team together to hold a basketball tripleheader.
The festivities start with Alabama A&M playing host to Alabama State in womenÂ’s action at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Flight taking on National Basketball Development League foe North Charleston at 6 p.m. The menÂ’s game featuring the Bulldogs and Hornets conclude the dayÂ’s action approximately 30 minutes following the Flight contest.
Individual tickets, good for all three games that day, are $20 for Lower Bowl baseline, $15 for either Lower Bowl corners or Floor Risers and $10 general admission in the Upper Bowl.
The first 1,500 Alabama A&M students will gain free admission to the tripleheader with valid student ID. Those AAMU student tickets are only available at the VBC the day of the game.
The tripleheader is presented by Verizon Wireless, Huntsville Hospital, Food World and Woody Anderson Ford.
