Flames Recall Roman Horak From Abbotsford

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today they have recalled centre Roman Horak from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Horak played the first two games of the NHL season with the Flames earning one assist before being assigned to Abbotsford on January 23. Prior to playing with the Flames, Horak started the hockey season with the Abbotsford Heat and currently leads the team with 14 goals along with seven assists for 21 points and 16 penalty minutes in 43 games.

Paul Byron has been placed on injured reserve with a fractured left hand retroactive to February 13.
