FORT MYERS, Fla., November 3 - The Florida Flame, presented by Century 21 Sunbelt Realty, have placed individual game tickets on sale for the 2005-06 NBA Development League regular season. Tickets are now available at the Germain Arena box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Spec's Music store. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Germain Arena box office at (239) 948-7825, Ticketmaster at 1-800-4-NBA-TIX or by logging onto ticketmaster.com.
Individual game tickets start at $13.00 (Gold Bowl). Other prices are: $22 (Platinum Bowl), and $35 (Courtside). All front row seats are sold out. The Flame are also presenting a Seniors Discount with all fans 65 or older receiving $2 off any game ticket.
Group tickets for groups of 20 or more individuals are priced at $8 per ticket for Gold Bowl seats and $10 per ticket for Platinum Bowl seats, savings of up to 45-55% off individual ticket prices for premium seats to Flame games in 2005-06. Flame group tickets are an excellent option for any church group, youth sports team, club, company or organization.
The Flame will tip-off their second season of providing NBA Development League basketball and affordable family entertainment to Southwest Florida in their home opener, Friday, November 25 at 7 p.m. as they take on the Roanoke Dazzle at Germain Arena.
The 2005-06 NBA Development League season runs November 2005 through April 2006. The Flame will play 23 home games at Germain Arena. Florida will play 13 of its 23 regular season home games on the weekends, including nine Friday and Saturday home games.
"We're excited to start our second season of bringing top quality entertainment to the people of Southwest Florida," said Flame Vice President of Business Operations, Matt LaBranche. "Having the majority of our home games on the weekends will make it more convenient for families to come and experience what the Florida Flame have to offer."
In addition, the Flame are offering Flex Plans designed to fit any fan's schedule. With the purchase of a Flex Plan, fans receive ten (10) tickets for $120 and can select the games they would like to attend during the season. Fans may select the game they would like to attend at the time of purchase or redeem their vouchers on the day of the game (seats are subject to availability).
Season ticket packages for all Flame home games at Germain Arena start as low as $120. As an incentive for fans, the Flame are offering the innovative Flame VIP Rewards Card program for all season ticket holders. By using their Flame VIP Rewards Card, season ticket holders will receive discounts on products and services at participating businesses, such as restaurants and retail stores, across Southwest Florida.

The NBA Development League tips off its fifth season on November 18, 2005. The league includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), , Austin Toros (Texas), Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.).
The D-League offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Thirty-four (34) players have been called up to the NBA on 50 separate occasions. Ten (10) former D-League coaches, five athletic trainers, 11 referees and 30 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league's inaugural season in November 2001.
The Florida Flame is the official D-League affiliate of the NBA's Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Orlando Magic. Showcasing the best young talent in professional basketball outside of the NBA, the Flame will play a 48-game schedule during the 2005-06 season with 23 home games at Germain Arena. Led by a group of local investors, the Flame is entering its second season of providing affordable, family entertainment to sports fans throughout Southwest Florida.
