PREVIEW: The Bruins are on a roll after taking two games on the road over divisional opponent Brookings this past weekend. The wins were the Bruins fourth and fifth straight, keeping them in pace with the rest of the difficult NAHL Central Division. Despite the wins, the Bruins still remain in second place in the division after Aberdeen also won both of their games and remain one point ahead of Austin.
This weekend brings a tall task for the Bruins as they take on their biggest rival, Bismarck. The Bobcats split their weekend series with Minot but have been playing strong as of late. The Bobcats are 7-3-0-0 in their last ten. Bismarck comes into this weekends matchup in fourth place in the Central Division with a 16-8-1-1 record. They currently sit just four points behind the Bruins for second place, and five points behind Aberdeen for the top spot. Bismarck is also a very strong team at home, owning a 9-1-0-0 record in their 10 games at VFW Sports Center.
