Fisher's Two Run Double Completes Gems' Comeback over Top Speed 14-13

Klamath Falls, OR: A one out, two run double by Nick Fisher (Linfield College) in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Gems a come from behind 14-13 win over Top Speed Baseball in non-league action at Kiger Stadium on Wednesday night.

Craig Meredith (University of Oregon) knocked in four RBI's with three hits for the Gems who had thirteen total hits on the night. Cole Trezek (Loyola Marymount University) came on in relief and got the win, his first for the Gems, and Matt Davis (St. Edwards University) fell to 0-2 with the loss for Top Speed Baseball.

Gems next home game is Friday, July 12th vs. the Central Oregon Bucks. Friday's promotion: Baseball Keychain Giveaway (Courtesy of Herald and News) for the first 250 fans!
