Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, have been selected as a winner in New Hampshire Business Review's 2008 BOB Awards, which honor the "Best of Business" in New Hampshire. The Fisher Cats were honored in a statewide readers' survey in the "Best Sporting Event To Bring A Client" category.

All of the winners will be honored at a celebration to be held from 5:30pm to 8:30pm Wednesday, March 19, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

"It is a tremendous honor to have the readers of New Hampshire Business Review vote for the Fisher Cats as the best sporting event to bring a client," said New Hampshire Fisher Cats Owner Art Solomon. "This just goes to show that even during one of the snowiest winters in our history, fans are thinking about the return of baseball and warm weather this spring and summer."

"The BOB Awards truly celebrate all New Hampshire businesses," said Jeff Feingold, editor of New Hampshire Business Review. "If other business owners have named your business a BOB business, that really says something about the high caliber of the company you're running."

"We strive to offer an atmosphere conducive to providing entertainment for families and businesses alike, and it is gratifying when the readers of New Hampshire Business Review validate our efforts by rewarding us with this honor," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "By hosting the 2008 Northeast Delta Eastern League All-Star Game and opening the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill, we feel that businesses will have even more to offer their clients during the upcoming Fisher Cats' season -which opens April 10."

Season Tickets, Mini-Plans and Individual Game Tickets are all on sale now by calling (603) 641-2005 or visiting www.nhfishercats.com.
