Fisher Cats holding anthem auditions

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- The Eastern League Champion New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, will be holding open auditions to find people to sing the National Anthem before home games during the 2005 season. The auditions will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Palace Theater at 80 Hanover St. in Manchester.
Participants are asked to arrive at the Palace Theater at 6:00 PM ready to sing their hearts out. There is no pre-registration. Participants will be assigned a number upon arrival. Each person will be asked to give a few lines from their rendition of the Star Spangled Banner in front of a team of Fisher Cats judges. The Fisher Cats will schedule singers for the entire 2005 season before Opening Day.
The Fisher Cats begin their season on April 7, 2005 at their brand new ballpark in downtown Manchester against the New Britain Rock Cats (Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins).
