
Fisher Cats Fall 6-2 In Trenton Saturday Night

TRENTON, NJ- Nashua, NH native Kevin Nolan homered and drove in two runs for the Fisher Cats, but New Hampshire fell to Trenton 6-2 on Saturday night at Arm & Hammer Park.
Nolan's home run, leading off the eighth inning, was his second of the season. It came off Matt Tracy (4-2), who earned the win working 5.2 innings in relief for Trenton.
Nolan also delivered an RBI single in the top of the ninth inning, plating Brad Glenn, who had walked with the other run for the Fisher Cats (16-21).
Trenton (20-16) started the scoring in the bottom of the second inning. Kyle Roller singled and Slade Heathcott doubled. Consecutive fly outs produced the runs as Roller scored on Reegie Corona's fly to centerfield and Heathcott came in on a fly to left by Kevin Mahoney for a 2-0 lead for the Thunder.
The Thunder added a run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Trenton loaded the bases with no outs and Ali Castillo, who had started the inning with a single, scored on a groundout to make it 3-0.
Trenton plated two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to build a 5-0 lead. Consecutive Thunder hitters were hit-by-pitch by reliever Matt Wright, both coming around to score when a ground ball to short was misplayed for two runs. Roller led off the bottom of the seventh inning with his fifth home run to make it 6-0.
