
First Team Workout Open To Public

The Beloit Snappers' first official team workout of the 2007 season will be open to the public. The team is inviting anyone interested to attend this workout on Wednesday, April 4th at 6:00 pm. This is totally FREE and will run for about an hour and a half.
Come check out second year Manager, Jeff Smith, as he looks to lead the Snappers to their third straight trip to the post-season. Also returning to the coaching staff is Hitting Coach Rudy Hernandez and Pitching Coach Steve Mintz.
Opening Day is almost here! Be here on Thursday, April 5th at 6:30 pm as the Snappers take on the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Purchase tickets online at www.snappersbaseball.com, by phone at 608-362-2272, or at Pohlman Field located at 2301 Skyline Drive in Beloit.
Don't forget, 54 days from now former Chicago Cub and new Peoria Chiefs' manager, Ryne Sandberg, is coming to Beloit! Sandberg and his Chiefs will take on the Snappers on May 19-20 and again June 21-24. Tickets are going fast!!!
Purchase your tickets to "Meet the Team Night" before it's too late! This exciting event is set for Tuesday, April 3rd at Central Christian Church, located at 2460 Milwaukee Road in Beloit, and will run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Adult tickets are $3, children ages 5-14 are $2, and children 4 and under are free. Enjoy a menu full of ballpark food for dinner and then take the time to get to know your 2007 Snappers.
