First-place Tribe returns to Victory Field Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians begin their fourth homestand of 2006 -- 10 games in 12 days -- on Thursday night when Scranton/Wilkes-Barre comes to Victory Field for a 7 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through June 12 as the Tribe entertains the Red Barons (June 1-4), Pawtucket Red Sox (June 5-8) and Louisville Bats (June 10-12).

Thurs., June 1 -- Scranton/W-B @ 7:00 p.m.

* Reality TV Night-- As part of Theme Thursday, come out to Victory Field dressed like your favorite reality TV star.

Fri., June 2 -- Scranton/W-B @ 7:00 p.m.

* Friday Night Fireworks -- Fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks spectacular courtesy of Pepsi and WFMS-95.5 FM.

* Country Night -- The WFMS/Colgate Country Winner, Blue River Band, will conduct a concert in the center-field plaza beginning at 5:30 p.m.

* Boy Scout Campout -- Boy Scouts will be able to camp out on the playing surface after the game.

Sat., June 3 -- Scranton/W-B @ 7:00 p.m.

* ZOOperstars Appearance -- The zany, hysterical and unbelievable ZOOperstars perform at Victory Field for the first time in 2006 courtesy of Clarian Health Partners and Comcast.

* Team Autograph Night -- Indians players and coaches will be available for autographs on the concourse from 5:45-6:30 p.m.

* Veterans Night -- The Indians salute those who have served our country with a special Veterans Night recognition courtesy of Crown Hill Cemetery. Advance ticket discounts are available for Veterans by contacting the Victory Field Box Office.

Sun., June 4 -- Scranton/W-B @ 2:00 p.m.

* Zach-in-the-Box Giveaway -- It's another Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive a Zach-in-the-Box courtesy of Conseco and Q-95. The unique giveaway honors former Tribe star Zach Duke, who was named the International League's 2005 Most Valuable Pitcher.

* Autographs and Knot Hole Run -- Select players will sign autographs on the concourse from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and members of the Pepsi-Comcast Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.

* Hyundai Sunday -- "Hyundai Sunday" will feature an interactive car display in which fans can check out the new Hyundai Sonatas and Tucsons with a chance to win a brand-new Sonata through the Hyundai Home Run Challenge.

Mon., June 5 -- Pawtucket @ 7:00 p.m.

* Monday Dollar Menu -- Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack® and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.

* Indians Day at the Children's Museum -- Throughout the day, members of the Pepsi-Comcast Indians Knot Hole Club receive free admission to the Children's Museum with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Tues., June 6 -- Pawtucket @ 7:00 p.m.

* Indianapolis Zoo Night -- Fans receive two-for-one admission by presenting a valid Indianapolis Zoo Membership Card.

Wed., June 7 -- Pawtucket @ 2:00 p.m.

* Business Day Game -- Take a break from the office and join the Indians at Victory Field for the special 2 p.m. matinee.

Thurs., June 8 -- Pawtucket @ 7:00 p.m.

* Pre-Game Youth Clinic -- Indians players and coaches will conduct a special Pre-Game Youth Clinic courtesy of The Little Slugger. Participation is open to anyone 14 & under with a game ticket

* Ladies Night -- Fans receive a 15% discount on all women's clothing in the Hot Corner Gift Shop.

Sun., June 11 -- Louisville @ 2:00 p.m.

* Victory Field Stadium Tin Giveaway -- It's another Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive a special 10th Anniversary Stadium Tin courtesy of Ivy Tech, Pepsi and Radio Now 93.1-FM.

* Autographs and Knot Hole Run -- Select players will sign autographs on the concourse from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and members of the Pepsi-Comcast Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.

Mon., June 12 -- Louisville @ 7:00 p.m.
