The Richmond RiverDogs are now 25-14-4, after going 3-0-1 last week. The ‘Dogs are unbeaten in their last six games and unbeaten in their last eight at home. Richmond leads the UHL's Eastern Conference by six points over Flint The ‘Dogs play five games in six nights this week, three at home. Happy Groundhog Day!

Tuesday, February 3 vs. Ft. Wayne 7:05 PM

GAME NOTES: The second of five meetings and the second of two here. Komets drilled the ‘Dogs 6-3 in December. David Alexandre Beauregard and Dustin Virag scored twice for Ft. Wayne. David Brosseau had two goals for Richmond. The ‘Dogs are 2-4 vs. Western Conference clubs.

Wednesday, February 4 vs. Elmira 7:05 PM

GAME NOTES: The 12th of 18 meetings and the seventh of 10 in Richmond. ‘Dogs are 7-2-2 vs. the Jackals, 5-0-1 at home. Richmond is 5-0-2 in the last seven meetings vs. the Jackals. David Brosseau and Kevin St. Jacques each have 10 points vs. the Jackals. Don Smith has 11 vs. Richmond.

Friday, February 6 @ Elmira 7:05 PM

GAME NOTES: The 13th of 18 meetings and the sixth of eight at Elmira. Richmond is 2-2-1 at Elmira. ‘Dogs are winless in their last three at Elmira. The Jackals third straight game vs. Richmond and sixth in seven games.

Saturday, February 7 @ Adirondack 7:35 PM

GAME NOTES: The 14th of 21 meetings and the seventh of 12 at Adirondack. Richmond is 8-3 vs. the IceHawks, 6-0 at Adirondack. J.J. Wrobel has 17 points vs. the IceHawks. Hugo Belanger has 19 vs. the ‘Dogs. Richmond has won the last four meetings vs. the IceHawks, allowing only six goals.

Sunday, February 8 vs. Port Huron 5:05 PM

GAME NOTES: The third of nine meetings and the first of five at Richmond. ‘Dogs are 2-0 vs. the Beacons. Richard Pitirri and Kevin St. Jacques each have four points vs. the Beacons. Brent Gretzky and Barry McKinlay have two vs. the ‘Dogs. All four Beacons goals in the series have come in the third period.

Tuesday, January 27 vs. Adirondack WIN 5-3

GAME NOTES: The ‘Dogs scored in the opening 33 seconds and led the rest of the night. Darren Wetherill had a goal and two assists. The ‘Dogs fired a season high 47 shots on goal, the clubs combined for a season high 78 shots. Richmond had a season low two PIM and the clubs combined for a season low six PIM. Richmond won their fourth straight at home.

Wednesday, January 28 @ Adirondack WIN 5-2

GAME NOTES: The ‘Dogs fell behind 1-0 but rallied back with two late first period goals. Richmond blew the game open with two second period goals. Five different ‘Dogs scored goals. Richmond fired a season high 49 shots on goal. Eric Perricone had a goal and assist. Olivier Fillion had two assists.

Friday, January 30 @ Adirondack WIN 2-1 (SO)

GAME NOTES: The ‘Dogs spoiled the UHL coaching debut of ESPN's Barry Melrose. The ‘Dogs grabbed a 1-0 first period lead on a goal by David Brosseau. The IceHawks forced the shootout with a third period goal. All three RiverDogs scored in the shootout. Maxime Gingras stopped all three IceHawks.

Saturday, January 31 @ Elmira LOSS 4-3 (SO)

GAME NOTES: The ‘Dogs took leads of 1-0 and 2-1 on goals by Kevin St. Jacques and Luch Nasato but fell behind 3-2 early in the third period. David Brosseau scored to tie the game at three. Richmond went 0-5 in the shootout. Elmira was 2-7 on the power play. Eddy Lowe scored twice for the Jackals.

DOG BITES: The 'Dogs are unbeaten in regulation in six straight games. Richmond had a five game winning streak end with a shootout loss at Elmira Saturday. The ‘Dogs are 6-0-2 in their last eight home games and have won four in a row. The 'Dogs are a season high 11 games over .500. Richmond fired a season high 49 shots on goal Wednesday at Adirondack. The 'Dogs play five games in six nights this week. Richmond is 19-1-2 when scoring the first goal. David Brosseau and Kevin St. Jacques have points in six straight games. Maxime Gingras has made 15 straight starts in net. Richmond snapped a four game road losing streak with their win over Adirondack Wednesday. The 'Dogs won back to back road games last week, their first since 12/5-12/6. Richmond's five game winning streak was the club's longest since the RiverDogs opened the season 8-0. The 'Dogs shootout loss Saturday was their first road shootout loss of the season after winning their first five road shootouts. The 'Dogs have played two straight shootouts for the second time this season. Richmond is a combined 17-5-2 vs. Elmira and Adirondack. St. Jacques is tied for 13th in the UHL in points. Darren Wetherill is fourth in plus/minus. Gingras is fourth in goaltender wins and is tied for third in shutouts. Richmond still leads the UHL in PIM. Richmond is 13-1-4 in one goal games. The ‘Dogs added rookie defenseman Erik Patten from Stonehill College to the roster.

· The RiverDogs home game slated for February 28 is now this Wednesday, February 4 vs. Elmira at 7 :05. Tickets for the February 28 game are good for the February 4 contest.
