Fireworks' Package Dates Announced

Corpus Christi Hooks News Release
(CORPUS CHRISTI, TX) â The Corpus Christi Hooks have announced the dates for their 2005 Friday Fireworks' Plus Package, which features all 10 Friday home games, the first and last home games of the regular season, and the 4th of July. A total of 20 games are in the package, and ticket holders will get a chance to see all seven Hooks' league opponents throughout the season.
The 20-game plan opens with the historic first-ever game at Whataburger Field on Sunday, April 17th, when the Hooks play host to the Midland RockHounds in a special 4:05 PM start time. The following night, Monday, April 18th, the Hooks will play their first night game at home. Featured that evening will be the first of 13 Fireworks' Nights at Whataburger Field, and all 13 are included in this Friday Fireworks' Plus Package.
The RockHounds, the AA affiliate of the Oakland A's, are featured five times in the package. Hooks' fans with the 20-game package will also see the San Antonio Missions (Seattle Mariners) and Frisco RoughRiders (Texas Rangers) four times each. The Eastern Division's Springfield Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals), Arkansas Travelers (Anaheim Angels) and Tulsa Drillers (Colorado Rockies) provide the opposition twice each, while the Wichita Wranglers (Kansas City Royals) round out the schedule with a single date.
Broken down by days of the week, the plan features the 10 Friday night games, plus six Mondays, three Sundays and one Wednesday. The package is also spread throughout the season, with three dates each in April, May and June, six dates in July, three more in August and wraps up with two in September.
The Friday Fireworks' Plus Package offers Hooks' fans a box seat to these selected 20 games for $150. Package tickets as well as full-season box seat tickets remain on sale and can be purchased by calling the Hooks at 361-561-HOOK (4665). A listing of the dates of the 20-game package follows.
