Fireworks and Giveaways all around on July 1

Jamestown Jammers News Release


The Jamestown Jammers, Class A affiliate of the Florida Marlins, announce the schedule of events for Tuesday, July 1. Game time is 7:05 vs. the Batavia Muckdogs.

The night will begins with United States Army vehicles outside the gate, and rock wall for fans to try on the inside. The first 600 fans through the gate will receive a limited edition logo baseball from the US Army.

During the game, fans will notice a famous face in the Muckdogs dugout, as former Cleveland Indians Manager Charlie Manuel makes the trip with Batavia for this special night. Manuel is a Special Assistant for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Following the game, the Jammers will host the first Budweiser Fireworks Extravaganza of the year.

"Independence Day is always one of the biggest events of the year." Said Jammers General Manager Eric Edelstein. "Being the first Independence Day event in Chautauqua County, we look to set the bar very high for all of the celebrations that will follow this week throughout the county and beyond."

Along with the special events of the night, the Jammers will continue to bombard the fans with prizes and contests galore. Every fan will receive a free Collectors Edition of the Post-Journal as they exit, and there will be many opportunities to walk away with great prizes.
