FireAntz Eliminated from Playoffs

[Fayetteville, N.C.]—The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) were eliminated from the playoffs Wednesday night. The Columbus Cottonmouths defeated them by a score of 4-2.

The FireAntz finished with an overall record of 32-25 and set a franchise record for wins in a season. Head coach Derek Booth was named the inaugural SPHL coach of the year. Chad Collins was named the All-Star SPHL goaltender as well as Goalie of the Year. Also, Steve Roberts was selected by the fans as the ‘Bud Light Player of the Year.’

The FireAntz organization would like to thank all of the fans, corporate partners, as well as all of those individuals that are affiliated with the organization.
