The Chicago Fire (8-5-5, 29 pts.) travel to Foxboro, Mass. this weekend to face the conference leading New England Revolution (10-4-3 33 pts.) in the final regular season meeting this Saturday, Aug. 9 (My50 Chicago, HDNet, 6:30 p.m. CT). The Fire won the first two meetings this season - 4-0 on April 3 at home and then 3-0 at Foxboro on May 3. The Fire are in third place in the Eastern Conference, just four points behind the Revolution. The Fire has posted a 14-13-6 all-time record versus New England Revolution, which includes a 7-9-1 record in games in Foxboro.

ROOKIE NYARKO UP FOR GOAL OF THE WEEK

Patrick Nyarko's 16th minute goal against Chivas USA has been nominated for the Sierra Mist Goal of the Week. Nyarko received the ball from Chris Rolfe inside the 18-yard box, and sent a hard shot just over the reach of Chivas USA goalkeeper Zach Thornton. The goal was Nyarko's first MLS career goal. CHICAGO FIRE SUPER-20 SQUAD WINS NORTH AMERICAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Chicago Fire Super-20 team captured the North American National Championship on Sunday in Virginia Beach, Va., defeating the Toronto Lynx 2-1 in the finals. The second year program is the first player development program to capture a national title. The Fire posted 15 goals while conceding only two goals during the finals week in five games played.

The Fire Super-20s advanced to the finals after defeating the D.C. United Super-20 Squad 3-0 on Saturday in the Semifinal game with goals courtesy of Chris Cutshaw (Mike Stevens, 5'), Matt Eliason (Chris Cutshaw, 68'), and Josh Thiermann (Matt Eliason, 70'). Goalkeeper Brock Tomlinson recorded the shutout - his third of the finals week.

McBRIDE WATCH

The U.S. Men's Olympic Team, including captain and recent Fire addition Brian McBride, fell to Cameroon, 1-0, in their second and final game of the ING Cup in Hong Kong before heading to the Olympic Games. The Olympic squad tied Ivory Coast 0-0 in their first warm up match in the ING Cup on July 30.

McBride and the Olympic team traveled to Tianjin yesterday, Sunday, Aug. 3, where the team will train for four days in preparation for the USA's opening match of the XXIX Olympiad against Japan on Aug. 7. The match will be shown live on MSNBC at 3:30 a.m. CT.

CUAUHTEMOC BLANCO VISITS CASA JUAN DIEGO

Blanco surprised 100 children last Wednesday as he stopped by to visit with participants at the Casa Juan Diego Youth Center. The Fire's Designated Player spoke to the youth group about the importance of leading healthy lifestyles and working hard toward reaching their goals. CHICAGO MACHINE TO PLAY FINAL HOME GAME

The Chicago Machine (3-7-1) will play their final regular season home game at TOYOTA PARK this Sunday, Aug. 10 at 3:30 p.m. The Machine will face the Rochester Rattlers (7-3-1) for the first time this season. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster outlets or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
