
Fire to Face New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena on Saturday

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC will travel for the second consecutive week as the Club heads to Harrison, N.J. to face New York Red Bulls on Saturday, May 1, at Red Bull Arena. The match will begin at 12:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on WGN-TV and CFFC Live. The match will also be transmitted locally in Spanish on TUDN 1200AM.
Chicago heads to Red Bull Arena with a 28-19-13 all-time record against New York. Led by first-year head coach Gerhard Struber, the Red Bulls kicked off the 2021 MLS campaign with a 2-1 loss against Sporting Kansas City, before traveling to face the LA Galaxy later today.
The Fire started the season with a 2-2 tie against New England Revolution in a game that saw fans return to Soldier Field, as the Club hosted its first-ever season opener at Soldier Field. Following the draw, Chicago played its first away match of the 2021 season, falling 3-1 to Atlanta United FC.
