November 17, 2004 - Continental Basketball Association 1 (CBA 1)
Rockford Lightning News Release
As the Lightning's season opener approaches, Coach Daleos player personnel decisions are being put to the test. "Everybody has played so well during our vets camp, I am finding very hard to sleep at night knowing how important these decisions will be to our team's success." The Lightning's Free Agent Camps have provided some very talented players. Out of the remaining fourteen players, five (Brant Bailey, Greg Clausen, Carson Cunningham, Sidney Holmes, and Brian Lubeck) have come from Free Agent Camps.
Once the final roster is submitted to the CBA League Office by 5:00 pm today, fans can come to Don Pablos restaurant tomorrow night at 7:00 pm and meet and greet the 2004 Lightning team. Players will be on hand to sign autographs, greet and talk about the up coming season.
The home opener for the Lightning is this Sunday at 5:05 pm as the Lightning take on the Gary Steelheads. Season ticket packages are still available. Any questions and comments can be directed to the Lightning office at 815-874-4232.
