Film festival animation workshop to feature Mammoth lacrosse

Members of the 2006 National Lacrosse League champion Colorado Mammoth will show basic lacrosse skills and serve as models for youth participating in this weekend's Denver International Film Festival animation education program. Lacrosse - the national sport of Canada - will be highlighted during the animation workshop as part of the DIFF's salute to Canadian Cinema.
When: Saturday Nov. 11 at 12:30 p.m.
Where: 1610 Little Raven, Suite 125 (base of Millennium Bridge).
Background: Animators from the National Film Board of Canada will be guiding students through workshops on animation as part of the opening weekend of the 29th Starz Denver International Film Festival. The DIFF is saluting Canadian cinema in this year's program and the Consulate General of Canada is sponsoring the animation workshops.
