Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Fighting Saints conclude a six-game homestand tonight at the Mystique Community Ice Center, hosting the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at 7:35 p.m. Tonight's game is the fourth meeting of the season between the two teams, and the Fighting Saints have won each of the previous three meetings. For the Fighting Saints, tonight will bring a return to full roster strength, as two players return from international competition and three return from injury or illness.

The RoughRiders are just 3-6-2 over the course of their last eleven games, though their three victories have come over their past five games. Last season's Anderson Cup champions are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference - sixteen points out of the top spot. Cedar Rapids is led in scoring by returning forward Nick Saracino, who has scored eight goals and totaled twenty-five points in twenty-eight games.

The Fighting Saints will play on the road for the first time since early December tomorrow night, travelling to Waterloo to play the Black Hawks. The Fighting Saints will next be home on Thursday, January 19, when they host Team USA at the Mystique Community Ice Center.

Pregame coverage starts at 7:10 on Dubuque's Super Hits 106 and SuperHits106.com.
