Fighters Sign Defensive Back Kenneth Mcgruder

FRISCO, Texas- The Frisco Fighters head coach Billy Back announced today the signing of defensive back Kenneth McGruder for the 2023 season.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound defensive back joins the Fighters from Oklahoma State University. He played for OSU from 2015-18, appearing in 35 game and recording 134 tackles, including 101 solo tackles. He recorded 11 tackles for loss, recovering 35 yards. McGruder made an appearance in the Alamo Bowl in 2016, and he was given an Honorable Mention for the All-Big 12 Team in 2018.
"Kenneth is a physical, downhill, sure tackler, cover guy," says Back. "He's got the ability to be in the box if needed as well as cover the high motion man-to-man. He's going to do big things for us this season. We look forward to getting started."
