FRISCO, Texas - The Frisco Fighters and head coach Billy Back announced the re-signing of defensive back Michael LoVett for the 2023 season.
The Fort Wayne, Indiana native stands at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. The graduate of Texas State University joined the Frisco Fighters at the start of the 2022 season. LoVett recorded a total of 22 tackles and one interception last season.
"Mike was one of the first secondary players we wanted to re-sign from last year's team due to his character, physical attributes and his ability to make plays," said head coach Billy Back. "He's got the length and speed we look for in a cover corner and we look forward to him stepping into a leadership role this season for our secondary."
