
Fight Back Express to Visit Pringles Park on Saturday

Jackson, Tenn---On Saturday, July 5 Pringles Park will play host to several special guests, including the American Cancer Society's Fight Back Express. The Fight Back Express is an activity of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and carries the mobile message that Americans have the power to fight cancer in this country with their voices. Activities include a survivors lap to honor the courage of all who have defeated cancer. And as night falls, luminaries will be lit around the stadium drive to further celebrate cancer survivors, and remember those lost to the disease. ACS CAN is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy partner of the American Cancer Society. For more information, visit www.acscan.org.
Charter Media will be sponsoring a visit by the Spongebob Squarepants mascot. SpongeBob is a character featured on Nickelodeon and is a sponge who lives in the ocean and goes on various adventures with his friends. Kids will be able to meet their favorite cartoon hero and take pictures throughout the game.
Rock of Love is a reality TV dating game show featuring Brett Michaels, the lead singer of the band Poison. The show is a contest between 20 women who compete to be chosen as Brett Michaels' favorite and win the contest by participating in various competitions and going on dates with Brett. Ambre, the winner of the most recent season of the show, and Jessica, a high finisher in the first season, will be throwing out the first pitch, signing autographs and taking pictures courtesy of Barley's.
The Diamond Jaxx will be wearing red, white and blue patriotic jerseys for Friday and Saturday's game, and fans will have a chance to take one home in a silent auction to be held outside the Clubhouse Souvenir shop sponsored by the Elks. This auction will conclude after the completion of the seventh inning of Saturday's game. All proceeds will go to benefit the VFW and Operation Rocky Top.
