Fever Face Mercury for Final Game of Regular Season Series

For the third and final time this season, the Indiana Fever will take on the Phoenix Mercury at the Footprint Center in Phoenix on Wednesday night. Phoenix has taken both games against Indiana this season by an average of 12.5 points per contest. In those games, however, Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell has combined to score 48 points.

In their matchup on Monday night, Phoenix was able to overcome their size disadvantage and generate offense from the three-point line. In their second game since the departure of center Tina Charles, the Mercury hit a season-high 13 of 33 three-point field goals. The Mercury were led by guard Diana Taurasi, who hit seven three-pointers on the way to 27 points for the night.

The Fever were led by Kelsey Mitchell's 22 points and four assists. Rookie forward NaLyssa Smith notched her fifth career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
