Fever 2012 Broadcast Schedule Announced
May 14, 2012 - Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA)
Indiana Fever News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Every Indiana Fever game of the 2012 season will be broadcast either online or on radio or television. Ten regular season Fever games will appear on live television to complement coverage of 17 radio broadcasts on 1070 The Fan plus WNBA Live Access which provides free worldwide access to webcasts of all WNBA games.
Eight Fever games will be carried as live regional telecasts on FOX Sports Indiana. Home games against Los Angeles (July 12) and Seattle (Sept. 12) will be carried nationally on ESPN2.
The Fever hosts the Atlanta Dream in its season opener on May 19 during what is the first of six home games produced by FOX Sports Indiana. The package also includes a pair of road games - Sept. 5 at Atlanta and Sept. 17 at Minnesota - produced by FOX regional sports networks and aired on FSI.
A live webcast of every game is available on FeverBasketball.com except during ESPN2 national broadcast windows. Webcasts during games televised on FSI are not available in local market areas due to blackout restrictions. Games taking place during FSI or national broadcast windows are archived and available for later viewing. TV games aired on ESPN2 are simulcast on ESPN3.com.
For the 13th consecutive year, the Fever partners with regional sports network FOX Sports Indiana to carry its TV package. The tandem of Chris Denari and Debbie Antonelli will team for an 11th straight summer calling the action on Indiana telecasts. Denari also continues as the club's lead announcer for radio broadcasts, with Kevin Lee and Tim Newton calling games, as well.
A WNBA playoff participant in seven straight seasons and eight times since 2002, the Indiana Fever has advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals three times in the past five years. The Fever opens its 2012 season by hosting the Atlanta Dream at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, May 19 (7:00 p.m.), in a rematch of last year's conference finals.
