
Fehr named Greyhound WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Eric Fehr of the Brandon Wheat Kings. Fehr earned player of the week honours by recording six goals and ten points in four games including two power-play goals during the week of March 8th to March 14th. Fehr helped lead the Wheat Kings to a perfect 4-0 for the week.
On Wednesday, March 10th, Fehr scored two goals and added two assists in a 10-0 victory against the visiting Saskatoon Blades. On Friday, March 12th, Fehr recorded a goal and added two assists in a 5-4 win against the visiting Saskatoon Blades.
On Sunday, March 14th, Fehr recorded a hat-trick in a 3-1 victory against the visiting Regina Pats.
Fehr, an 18-year-old from Winkler, Manitoba, was drafted in the first round, 18th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
