FC Cincinnati News Release

CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati midfielders Corben Bone and Emmanuel Ledesma have been voted to the United Soccer League's Team of the Week for Week 27 after strong performances in FC Cincinnati's 1-0 win at Louisville City FC on Tuesday night, and its 4-3 victory over Toronto FC II on Sunday afternoon. This is Bone's third and Ledesma's sixth appearance on the USL Team of the Week this season.

Bone opened the week by recording the game-winning goal in FCC's 1-0 victory over Louisville City FC on Tuesday, Sept. 11. On Saturday in FCC's come-from-behind victory over Toronto, Bone recorded his first brace in his three-year FC Cincinnati career. He tallied the game-tying goal in the 78th minute, as well as the game-winning goal in the 88th-minute on his 30th birthday. Overall, Bone recorded three goals on four shots in 159 minutes of match action. Bone is in the midst of a career year, scoring a career-high eight goals and adding four assists on the campaign.

Ledesma kicked off the week by tying the all-time USL single-season assist record when he provided the game-winning assist on Bone's goal in the latest edition of the River Cities Cup. FCC's leading scorer went on to eclipse the record by registering his second three-assist performance of 2018 on Saturday. In two matches, Ledesma recorded four assists and made a team-high six key passes in 186 minutes. The frontrunner for the USL's MVP leads all FC Cincinnati players in goals (13) and assists (15) on the year.

FC Cincinnati (20-3-6, 66 pts.), who continues to lead the USL standings, became the first team to secure a berth in the 2018 USL Cup Playoffs with a 1-0 win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Sept. 1. Cincinnati is in the midst of an 18-game unbeaten run (14-0-4), which includes a seven-match winning streak - two matches shy of the all-time mark set by Real Monarchs in 2017.

The Orange and Blue will be back on the road next weekend when they open up a two-match road trip at Penn FC at FNB Field on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 7p.m. The game will be televised live on WSTR 64 and streamed live on ESPN+.
