FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - With the USL Cup Playoffs slated to start in just four weeks, FC Cincinnati - the league's only team to claim a berth in the postseason so far - has announced ticket information for its potential first two games at Nippert Stadium this October.
Already assured of no lower than a second-place finish in the East, FC Cincinnati has earned the right to host at least the first two rounds of the USL Cup Playoffs should they advance past the first round.
FCC will open play in the USL Cup Playoffs on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Nippert Stadium. First kick is set for 4 p.m. in that first-round game. Should Cincinnati advance in its opener, the Orange and Blue would host the Eastern Conference Semifinal on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m. at Nippert Stadium.
FC Cincinnati (20-3-6, 66 pts.) currently sits atop the entire USL table, 16 points clear of the East's second-place team, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (13-4-11, 50 pts.), and nine points clear of the West's top team, Orange County SC (17-7-6, 57 pts.).
