August 8, 2019 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - During Major League Soccer's annual Heineken Rivalry Weekend - when Columbus Crew SC comes to Cincinnati for the nationally-televised #HELLISREAL derby - FC Cincinnati's rabid fan base is encouraged to "Blue Out" Nippert Stadium for the FOX Sports 1 audience.
To help fans get outfitted with blue attire for the game, the FC Cincinnati Shop (43 East Fourth St., Cincinnati) is offering a special chance to meet FCC's hometown defender Nick Hagglund.
Starting Monday, Aug. 12, and while ticket supplies last (or through the shop's closing at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22) fans who come to the downtown storefront and purchase selected "Blue Out" items or the club's special "Salute to Service" pregame top will receive one ticket per item to meet Hagglund in-person on Aug. 22 after the store closes. Fans must present a physical ticket to enter the store during the Hagglund meet and greet.
During the meet & greet session, fans will have the opportunity to have their 2019 jerseys customized on-site with "14" and "Hagglund," if desired.
The "Blue Out" product selection will include unisex t-shirts, hats and a special rivalry game scarf.
FC Cincinnati return to the field this Saturday, Aug. 10, when the team travels to Columbus for the first of two #HELLISREAL rivalry games in three weekends. First kick from MAPFRE Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m., and the game will be televised live on WSTR 64, streamed on FloFC (in-region) and ESPN+ (out-of-region), carried on the radio on WDJO with an audio stream on TuneIn (WDJO) and fccincinnati.com.
FC Cincinnati's next home game will come on Saturday, Aug.17 when the club hosts New York City FC at 7:30 p.m. at Nippert Stadium to cap the club's special "Salute to Service" campaign. The match will be televised locally on WSTR Star64, streamed regionally on FloFC, out of market on ESPN+ and carried on the radio on WDJO, while an audio stream will be available on the TuneIn app and fccincinnati.com.
