
FC Tampa Bay Loans Midfielder Jonny Steele to Carolina RailHawks for 2011 Season

TAMPA, Fla. (February 24, 2011) - FC Tampa Bay announced today the loan of midfielder Jonny Steele to North American Soccer League (NASL) member Carolina RailHawks. Steele will be playing with the RailHawks for the 2011 season. This is the last season of his contract with FC Tampa Bay.
Steele made 10 appearances for Tampa Bay in 2010, scoring one goal and recording three assists. Steele came to FC Tampa Bay along with Ricardo Sanchez in a trade with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in July 2010. While with the Whitecaps, the Larne, Northern Ireland native played in 12 regular season matches and three Nutrilite Canadian Championship games for a total of 844 minutes of action.
