
NSC Minnesota Stars Announce Fit Studios as Strength and Conditioning Partner

BLAINE, Minn. (February 24, 2011) -- Fit Studios will return in 2011 as the official strength and conditioning partner of the NSC Minnesota Stars. The St. Louis Park fitness studio will provide both preseason and in-season conditioning training to all Stars players.
"We are very excited to continue growing our relationship with Fit Studios, and I believe they will give us an advantage not only during the 90 minutes of a match, but in recovery and making the most of our training sessions," said Manny Lagos, NSC Minnesota head coach and director of soccer operations. "Aaron is a former pro and knows what it takes to compete at this level. Having that background makes him one of the best fitness trainers in North America."
Aaron Leventhal and Max Lipset will be the trainers in charge of working with the team over the course of the 2011 North American Soccer League season. Leventhal played eight seasons for the Minnesota Thunder, and Lipset was a member of the 2010 Stars roster and appeared for the club in several exhibition matches and the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
"Aaron and I are very excited to continue our relationship with the Stars," Lipset said. "We were proud to be a part of the inaugural season last year and we are looking forward to building on that performance this year. We believe the in the Stars mission to grow professional soccer in Minnesota and are honored to provide state of the art strength and conditioning programming for the team."
Stars season ticket packages are on sale now by calling (763) 792-7355. General admission seats start at just $135 for adults, $75 for youth age 17 and younger. A supporters' ticket is available for $150 and includes a commemorative scarf. Reserved seats with chair backs are $210 for the season, and pitch side seats are $315. Season ticket packages include 14 league home games and one additional exhibition match. All season tickets except pitch side seats are flexible tickets and can be used in any combination at any Stars match.
