
FC Montreal Welcomes the Port City Team for Mid-Week Match

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Hammerheads will travel to FC Montreal on Wednesday, August 31st to play at Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard.
Wilmington and Rochester last met on April 17th where Wilmington sent Montreal home with a 2-0 loss. Montreal currently sits in last place, compared to Wilmington sitting in eleventh place. Head coach Mark Briggs elaborated, "It will be an extremely difficult game. Montreal has made some big changes to their roster and this has shown in their latest results. However, at this point in the season every game is a cup final."

Coach Briggs concluded, "The guys showed heart, grit, and determination in Saturday's match against Rochester. We will need to bring that level of play and maintain it against Montreal tomorrow."
