Islanders Look to Sweep Bethlehem in Final Match At FNB Field

Harrisburg, PA - City Islanders FC will look to complete the season series sweep against their in-state rival Bethlehem Steel FC Tuesday, August 30 at 7 p.m.
The Islanders have beaten the Steel twice already this season. One at home and one on the road in the team's first season of play.
In their first match up the Islanders grabbed the inaugural victory in Lancaster by a final score of 3-1. Aaron Wheeler was able to head home the winning goal late in the first half.
City then went into Goodman Stadium first time and came out with a close 1-0 victory with help from Brett Jankouskas late in the game.
After drawing with Pittsburgh on Saturday, City still sits two spots out of the playoffs with Bethlehem and Orlando City B in front of them. A win on Tuesday against the Steel would bring them one spot closer to the postseason and jump their Pennsylvanian foes.
Bethlehem is winless in their last seven games with five losses in that span but have not lost by more than one goal in each of those outings.
The City Islanders will have just three games remaining to get back to the playoffs and each game is vital. Their next match up against New York Red Bulls II will be the toughest test remaining in their race for the last spot. The next home game of the season for the Isles will be in Lancaster on Saturday, September 17 against the Wilmington Hammerheads at 7 p.m.
