FC DALLAS HEADS TO FLORIDA FOR WEEK OF TRAINING: FC Dallas checked into their hotels and headed to practice at Land O' Lakes soccer facility in Tampa Bay, Florida on Monday. The afternoon session began a week-long practice schedule that sees FC Dallas compete in their first two scrimmages of 2005. FC Dallas will take on the MetroStars on Wednesday at Bradenton at 11 a.m. and the Chicago Fire on Friday at Bradenton at either 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. Below is the scheduled training week for FC Dallas:

Tuesday, February 8 Two-A-Days: 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. @ Land O'Lakes in Tampa Bay
Wednesday, February 9 Scrimmage vs. MetroStars at 11a.m. @ Bradenton
Thursday, February 10 Two-A-Days: 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. @ Land O'Lakes
Friday, February 11 Scrimmage vs. Chicago Fire at 11a.m. or 3 p.m. @ Bradenton
Saturday, February 12 11 a.m. @ Land O Lakes
Sunday, February 13 DAY OFF â Return to Dallas
JOHNSON HEADING TO FLORIDA WITH U.S. NATIONAL TEAM: The U.S. National Men's Team is preparing in Florida for their Feb. 9 World Cup Qualifying match at Trinidad and Tobago at 1:30 p.m. (CST). The match will be televised live on ESPN2. Currently there are 23 players training in Florida from which Manager Bruce Arena will select 18 players to face Trinidad & Tobago on Wednesday. One of the 23 players is FC Dallas forward Eddie Johnson. 13 MLS players and 10 European players comprise the 23 players listed below with their positions.

FC Dallas, a charter member club of Major League Soccer, will begin play in the new 21,193 seat soccer stadium on August 6, 2005. The 117-acre facility will be located at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco. The Frisco Soccer & Entertainment Center will accommodate Major League Soccer matches, major concerts, international soccer matches and High School football. Adjacent to the stadium will be 17 regulation-sized, tournament-grade soccer fields which will be utilized on a year-round basis. Join us as we celebrate Major League Soccer's 10th season.
