
FC Dallas look to defend Pizza Hut Park against Real Salt Lake on Saturday

FRISCO, Texas (Oct. 25, 2010) -FC Dallas (12-4-14, 3rd in the Western Conference) returns to the training grounds this week in preparation of its playoff match Saturday against defending MLS Cup Champions Real Salt Lake (15-4-11, 2nd in the Western Conference).
Scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. Central Time on Fox Soccer Channel (FSC), the match, which is presented by Cash America, represents the first leg of the home-and-away series between two clubs that have combined for the two longest unbeaten stretches in MLS this season. FC Dallas equaled the all-time MLS record for an unbeaten streak (19 games) before running into Salt Lake on Oct. 9. Alternatively, Salt Lake had a 10-game unbeaten stretch cancelled by FC Dallas on Aug. 8 of this year. Real Salt Lake has not lost since falling to FC Dallas 2-0 at Pizza Hut Park, a stretch of 14 games.
The game will air live on FSC, MLS Direct Kick and ESPN Deportes 1540 AM.
