
San Jose Earthquakes Forward Chris Wondolowski Named MLS Player of the Week

NEW YORK (October 25, 2010) - The 2010 Budweiser Golden Boot winner, Chris Wondolowski of the San Jose Earthquakes, was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for Week 30 of the 2010 MLS season.
On Wednesday night, in the first of two games this week for the Earthquakes, Wondolowski recorded his second hat trick of the season, giving San Jose a 3-0 win over Chivas USA. Wondolowski added another goal to his 2010 total on Saturday night in a 3-1 loss to the Kansas City Wizards.
With 18 goals this season, the San Jose striker earned the 2010 Budweiser Golden Boot.
