CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati are preparing for the start of a stretch that will feature four matches in 11 days. FC Cincinnati will open the week with a third consecutive road match when they travel to Subaru Park to play the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The Orange and Blue will return home for the first of five consecutive matches to be played at Nippert Stadium when they host Toronto FC on Sunday, Oct. 11.

FC Cincinnati (3-7-4, 13 pts.) enter the week following a 2-0 defeat to Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field last night.

The Philadelphia Union (8-3-4, 28 pts.) and Toronto FC (9-2-4, 31 pts.) open the week after playing last night at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn. Following Sergio Santos' early goal for the visitors, Toronto's Ayo Akinola and Alejandro Pozuelo scored to lead TFC to a 2-1 victory.

FC Cincinnati to play longest homestand in club's MLS history

Following the upcoming match against the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, Oct. 7, FC Cincinnati are set to play five consecutive MLS regular-season matches at Nippert Stadium ... five consecutive home matches will be the longest homestand recorded by FCC since joining MLS in 2019 ... in 2018, the club's final campaign in USL, the Orange and Blue played six consecutive regular-season home matches at Nippert Stadium.

Mokotjo makes FCC debut

FC Cincinnati midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo made his FC Cincinnati debut in the Orange and Blue's match against Minnesota United on Saturday, Oct. 3 ... Mokotjo replaced Mathieu Deplagne in the 89th minute of the match ... FC Cincinnati officially acquired Mokotjo on Aug. 20 ... tonight marked the first time Mokotjo was named to FCC's matchday roster.

Fearless Frankie

Midfielder Frankie Amaya currently leads MLS with 49 tackles through 15 MLS regular-season matches ... additionally, he has won 87 of 160 duels for a 54.38% success rate ... that mark is the fifth-best rate among all players who have been in at least 150 duels this season ... Amaya has also displayed two-way quality this season ... among the 28 players who have been in 150 duels in MLS this season, Amaya has the best passing accuracy having completed 86.56%, or 541-of-625 passes.

FC Cincinnati will return to the pitch for a mid-week match on Wednesday, Oct. 7 when they will play the Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on WSTR 64, carried on the radio on WDJO (99.5 FM, 107.9 FM and 1480 AM), streamed regionally on fccincinnati.com/stream, out of market on ESPN+, while an audio stream will be available at TuneIn (WDJO) and fccincinnati.com.
